Overdue company accounts? We can help

Help filing overdue limited company accounts, in navy and gold

Why speed matters

Companies House late filing penalties are banded by how late you are, so the cost jumps as time passes — from £150 up to 1 month late, to £1,500 over six months, and doubled if you were also late the year before. Filing sooner rather than later can literally keep you in a cheaper band. Ignoring it is the worst option: it invites compulsory strike-off, which can freeze the company’s bank account and pass its assets to the Crown.

Overdue confirmation statement too?

Late accounts often come with an overdue confirmation statement, which is the usual trigger for strike-off. We check both while we’re at it and bring the whole company back into good standing — not just the accounts.

Already had a strike-off warning?

If you’ve received a strike-off notice (a “first Gazette notice”), don’t panic — filing the outstanding accounts and confirmation statement promptly usually halts the process. But time is short, so call 0114 327 1480 today.
